This is a character from the popular series Naruto. The black rigns around his eyes have formed from the sleep disorder Insomnia, due to the beast within him. He has been affected by this disorder since he was a child.
Yes I was always wondered why he never sleep. I know he feared the beast coming out if he went to sleep but he said he was consciously forcing himself not to sleep. Is that possible or is it just anxiety driven?
I never watched Naruto but this is a clear example of insomnia. From what you know about insomnia if the fear aspect is taken away will the insomnia also disappear?
